Empowering female and first-time hackers to develop web apps in a team-based environment
WHACK is where awesome women come together to learn, explore, and build. Think out of the box, play with new technologies, ask questions, make mistakes, learn something new, and have fun! To help you execute those rad ideas, we’re providing seasoned mentors to spread their knowledge.
Get pumped! Each team will consist of students from a mix of Boston area colleges (Wellesley, Simmons, Smith, Harvard, MIT, etc) and a professional mentor. With intimate teams, a mentor-based experience, and a focus on engaging women, WHACK provides opportunities to meet people, learn, and hack together
